AVI worked with the City of Cheyenne to design and oversee pavement and site improvements at six Public Works facilities throughout the community, including Street and Alley, Fleet Maintenance, Transfer Station, City Landfill, City Hall, and the Traffic Building. The project included rehabilitation and replacement of existing asphalt and concrete pavement, along with targeted improvements to address deteriorated subgrade and drainage concerns at each facility.
Subgrade remediation and drainage improvements were significant components of the project, requiring AVI to evaluate the existing conditions at each site and develop solutions tailored to the individual facility while maintaining access and ongoing City operations. AVI provided civil design, surveying, and construction management services throughout the project, coordinating closely with City staff and the contractor to deliver durable improvements across six active and operational facilities.
