Laramie County CFM
East Pershing Highway.
This project consisted of complete alignment, right-of-way
and topographic surveys, alignment studies, design plans,
and construction management for 2 ¼ miles of rural highway
reconstruction near Cheyenne, Wyoming. This project
involved the design of a structure over Dry Creek Drainage
Channel and realignment of one mile of the drainage channel.
Coordination with a number of state agencies including
the Laramie County government, Wyoming Department
of Transportation, Corps of Engineers and the Wyoming
Department of Environmental Quality was required.
Credmore Lakes Road
Redfeather , Colorado.
Consisting of reconstruction along 1.3 miles of the scenic
Creedmore Lakes Road beginning at the Intersection of
Creedmore Lakes Road & Deadman Road and ending at
Hiawatha Highway, the project involved modifications
to the existing roadway to increase safety by flattening
horizontal and vertical curves, widening the roadway,
adding clear zones, removing encroaching trees, and
realigning the Creedmore Lakes Road and Deadman Road
intersection. The design was sensitive to the needs and
desires of the adjacent landowners and their interests to
protect the scenery and environment. Drainage issues
were improved throughout the corridor while protecting
sensitive wetlands and timbered areas. The project was
constructed during the 2005 construction season at a cost
of 1.3 million dollars. |
