POWERS FIELD

Since completion, Powers Field has become a regional draw for high competition American Legion Baseball; and propelled the Cheyenne Post 6 Legion Team to six straight State titles. AVI was the lead consultant for a team of engineers, architects and landscape professionals for the master planning and design of Powers Field. This baseball complex was designed to minor league standards
including below grade dugouts; concession/restroom/ locker room facilities; maintenance building; large parking area; grand stand seating; a synthetic sports turf infield with an extensive underfield drainage system; field lighting, and fully media ready press booth.

EAST CHEYENNE GREENWAY

AVI completed design and construction management for Phase II of the East Cheyenne Greenway. This project included 9,000 lineal feet of 10 to 12 foot wide concrete path, 1,400 lineal feet of concrete retaining wall, scenic overlook pullouts, fence, trees, shrubs, and landscaping. Also included was the design of a below grade crossing under U.S. Highway 30 and a pedestrian bridge over Dry Creek.

NORTH LIONS PARK

This project was identified as part of the overall Lions Park Master Plan, and consisted of new roadway alignments and design of new parking areas while eliminating some existing roads and parking areas. The design created 60 new parking spaces while increasing park greenspace by two acres. The project design also included storm sewer, pedestrian pathways, landscape islands, and an enhanced entrance.
