With a deep talent pool of engineers, designers, surveyors and partners, AVI provides the Owner with the benefit of
our accumulated specialized knowledge, many years of experience, and necessary resources to navigate through the complexities of each individual construction project. From part-time onsite inspection to complete contract administration, our Construction Management services can be tailored to satisfy the individual needs of each Owner. We add tangible value by providing the single-source resources and expertise needed to professionally manage quality, cost, and schedule; the usual risks associated with a construction project.

AVI prides itself on a solid reputation for excellence in Construction Management. We are one of only a few firms that have been contracted by the Wyoming Department of Transportation for construction-related services.

Not only must the Construction Phase of any contract be effectively managed, but the need to provide qualified onsite personnel to prevent claims through an extensive documentation process is essential. A Construction Manager/Resident Engineer must be an individual who will not make a bad judgment or fail to resolve onsite
disputes. AVI provides this high level of experience and expertise to assure the successful completion of your next
construction project.

AVI’s experienced construction management personnel teamed with a national design firm to provide the Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities (BOPU) with qualified and cost-effective services on the three following construction projects.

King II Storage Tank
King II Water Tank

Sherard Raw Water Pipeline
Sherard 36” Raw Water Pipeline

Dry Creek Waste Water Plant
Dry Creek Waste Water Treatment Plant

KING II STORAGE TANK
This was a 15 million gallon concrete water storage tank buried into the hillside adjacent the Sherard Water Treatment Plant. A rigorous testing program to insure that reactive aggregates were not incorporated into the concrete mix designs was of utmost importance to BOPU.

SHERARD RAW WATER PIPELINE
Construction for 14.6 miles of a new raw water transmission pipeline capable of supplying 58 million gallons per day from Crystal Lake to the Sherard Water
Treatment Plant. The project was constructed using innovative trenching requirements for the 36”and 50”
welded steel pipe.

WASTE WATER PLANTS
The $40 mil expansion of BOPU’s two wastewater treatment plants (Crow Creek and Dry Creek) to provide for high
levels of ammonia removal (nitrification) at both facilities. Nitrification at Crow Creek was accomplished by installing
nitrifying moving bed biofilm reactors while Dry Creek utilized an integrated fixed-film activated sludge system.
